Macon County Veterinary Hospital is pleased to offer the latest diagnostic tools available in veterinary medicine. Our array of equipment includes ultrasound which provides a higher level of care to our patients.

Ultrasound is an extremely useful, non-invasive diagnostic instrument that produces clear, easy to read images that are more detailed than an x-ray. The ultrasound allows our experienced veterinarians to visualize the internal organs and other structures inside the body so they can find any abnormalities that cannot be seen or felt during a physical examination. It is used most often to diagnose bladder and kidney stones, discover abdominal masses, to aid in the assessment of organ function, to diagnose cardiac problems, and to evaluate pregnancies.

The dedicated doctors and staff at Macon County Veterinary Hospital are here when you need us to diagnose your pet’s condition.
