Nicole was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She came to Macon County Veterinary Hospital in August 2011, when she and her husband purchased the practice from Dr. Murray. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Associate of Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University in 2005. Nicole comes with 15 years combined veterinary experience, working 2 years at Hagyard-Davidson-McGee Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and 5 years as the head veterinary technician at Miami Valley Animal Hospital in Dayton, OH. In her free time, Nicole enjoys riding her horses, Tahani and Foxy, playing tennis, and spending time with her two daughters, family and friends. At home Nicole has three cats, Kali, Tux, and Princess.
Lead Veterinary Nurse
Cassie was born and raised in Lafayette, Tennessee. She worked at Macon County Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant before obtaining her Veterinary Technician degree from Vol State in 2015. Cassie enjoys being out on her farm taking care of her goats and other livestock. She has several dogs and cats, as well. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing anything outdoors.
Vickie has been working as a Receptionist at Macon County Veterinary Hospital since the summer of 2006. She and her husband, George live in Westmoreland. Together they have nine children, eleven if you count their two Yorkies. They raise Tennessee Walking Horses and their youngest son, Nicholas, is an avid barrel racer. Due to Nicholas' love of barrel racing, Vickie is very involved with the Westmoreland Saddle Club. She moved from Michigan in 2000, coming from a law enforcement background. Proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks!
Lauren was born and raised in Lafayette, Tennessee. She grew up on a farm with cattle and goats. Lauren attended Vol State University and graduated with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017. At home, she has two daughters, a dog, and a cat. She enjoys doing anything outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Laura was born and raised in Georgia. She has lived in Macon County, Tennessee since 2010. She has been involved in Animal Health since 2004. Laura enjoys farming with her family. They have cattle and her favorite time of year is hay season.She loves being on a tractor.Laura loves spending time with her Australian Shepherds, Bella and Edward.
Trish has always had a love of animals. After working for several years on the Ringling Brothers Circus and getting up close and personal with some wonderful and exotic animals, she knew she wanted to pursue an animal related career. In 2010 she moved to Nashville and went to Grooming School. Trish has worked in high volume salons in Nashville and Brentwood and even managed a salon for a few years. We now bring her years of experience and passion to Macon County Veterinary Hospital.
Brandi was born and raised in Macon County, Tennessee. She has been in the veterinary medicine field in multiple positions, for six years. Brandi is married and has two children and three fur babies. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Beth was born and raised in Oklahoma, she moved to Lafayette in 2007. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. Her love for animals has led to her adding four dogs, a bearded dragon, a hedgehog, and crested gecko to their family.
Matthew is from Westmoreland, Tennessee. He started his Veterinary path with us in 2019. He plans to continue his education through Western Kentucky University Veterinary Program. He hopes one day to have his own Veterinary Practice.
Taylor was born and raised in a small agricultural town in Hughson, CA. She moved to Tennessee in June of 2021 and says she is loving every bit of it! She has always loved animals her whole life and knew she wanted to be in the vet field helping animals. Taylor’s favorite things to do include cowboy, team rope, hunting, fishing, and camping. She's helped beef ranchers, dairies, vet practices, almond hullers, and groomers and seen all aspects of animals large and small. She has 2 horses; Fury and Savage. She also has 5 dogs; Sage, Kit, Holly, Pup, and Grim and 1 cat named Dexter.
Taylor was born in Somerset, Kentucky. She moved to Lafayette, Tennessee where she graduated from Macon County High School in 2018. Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has a Rottie named Ace, and a cat named Flash.
Destinee was born and raised in Lafayette,Tennessee. She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster College to obtain her associate degree in Veterinary Technology. Destinee has two cats, Binx and Link. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her daughter, husband and family.
Brianna was raised in Hartsville, Tennessee. She attended Volunteer State Community College where she enrolled in Veterinary Assistant courses to start her career at Macon County Veterinary Hospital. Brianna is very compassionate and caring, and she loves her job. She has a dog named Murphy and 5 kids at home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
