April 2016 Special At MCVH

For the month of April, all heartworm and tick bourne parasite tests are 15% off.  Heartworms can affect all pets regardless of breed, size, or living conditions.  Heartworms are transmitted by an infected mosquito.  Last year at Macon County Veterinary Hospital, we treated 27 heartworm positive dogs.  So far in 2016, we have seen 10 dogs with heartworms.  Don't let your canine companion be part of the epidemic, get them tested and on heartworm prevention today.  Heartworm prevention can be given by mouth or applied to the skin.  Many of our heartworm preventions are on sale this month.  Visit our Products/Promotions page or call the clinic for more information, 615-666-8063.  Give us a call today to schedule your pet's heartworm test.  To test for heartworms, we only need a few drops of blood and 10 minutes.
