Dr. Gregory Miller

Dr Miller of Macon County Veterinary Hospital TennesseeDr. Miller grew up in Carrollton, Kentucky with his three older brothers and wonderful parents. He attended Murray State University, pursuing a degree in agriculture, before changing his focus to veterinary medicine. Dr. Miller obtained his veterinary prerequisites from the University of Kentucky, then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2006. After graduation, Dr. Miller worked in Ohio for 5 years in both mixed and small animal practices. In August 2011, he and his wife Nicole purchased Macon County Veterinary Hospital. His areas of interest include ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, home repair projects, and spending time with his family and pets.

Nicole Miller, LVMT

Nicole Miller LVMT of Macon County Veterinary Hospital TennesseeNicole was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She came to Macon County Veterinary Hospital in August 2011, when she and her husband purchased the practice from Dr. Murray.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Associate of Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University in 2005. Nicole comes with 15 years combined veterinary experience, working 2 years at Haggard, Davidison & McGee Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and 5 years as the head veterinary technician at Miami Valley Animal Hospital in Dayton, OH.  In her free time, Nicole enjoys riding her horses, Tahani & Foxy, playing tennis, and spending time with family & friends.  At home Nicole has 3 cats and a cockatiel, Quinlyn. 

Alexis Bartley

Alexis started working at Macon County Veterinary Hospital in January 2012 as part of the work study program at Macon County High School.  Alexis will continue working at the hospital part-time until she starts at Tennessee Tech University in the fall of 2012.  She plans to major in Animal Science and continue on to the University of Tennessee to pursue a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.  Alexis is a bright, young woman who will go far.

Jaymie Butram

Jaymie

Jaymie started working at Macon County Veterinary Hospital in June 2012. She lives in Red Boiling Springs with her husband Lee and beautiful baby girl. Jaymie has two Lab mixes named Trouble and Shadow and a Chihuahua named Zoe. She enjoys time with her family, mixed martial arts, and any activity involving the outdoors. Jaymie loves anything animal related and enjoys learning new things at Macon County Veterinary Hospital.

Cassie Dyer

Cassie has been a receptionist at Macon County Veterinary Hospital since 2002. She has lived in Lafayette since 1997, when her family moved back from Lexington, Kentucky. Cassie has been married six years to her husband, Brock. They have one four-legged hairy son, a Corgi named Pooh. Last year they bought their first home. One day they hope to adopt a baby, but for now they enjoy spending time with their niece, who they spoil as much as possible. In her free time, she enjoys going shopping with friends, dinners with family, reading good books, and still enjoys special dates with her husband. Cassie enjoys her job and learning new things every day. She loves helping all the animals that come into the clinic.

Vickie Campbell

Staff of Macon Co Vet Lafayette TN

Vickie has been working as a receptionist at Macon County Veterinary Hospital for 5 years. She and her husband, George live in Westmoreland. Together they have nine children, eleven if you count their two Yorkies. They raise Tennessee Walking Horses and their youngest son, Nicholas, is an avid barrel racer. Due to Nicholas' love of barrel racing, Vickie is very involved with the Westmoreland Saddle Club. She moved from Michigan in 2000, coming from a law enforcement background.
